Fathers' Night at Kindy 2
Many of our Kindy 2 dads came along to enjoy an evening of hands-on fun, there were many of exciting activities thoughout the evening ending with a yummy sausage sizzle.

Trash to Treasure photo competition entries
Cheak out Queen of Apostles entry for the 2010 Keep Australia Beautiful Week Trash to Treasure photo competition. Entries closed August 23. All entries will be eligible to feature in the 2011 Keep Australia Beautiful calendar.
Queen of Apostles - year 2
My Year 2 Class have been learning about recycling this term. For our assembly item, we arranged a “junk to funk” fashion show. The children had to make an outfit using as many recyclable items as possible and they had a marking key to guide them. They also had to do a reflection on what they enjoyed about making their outfits and what they found difficult. The Assembly ended with them reciting a poem titled “Our Earth”, which talks about preserving our environment for the little girls and boys to come.” This event really helped the children to understand more about recycling and it also gave them the opportunity to spread the word about recycling to the rest of the school, thereby playing their part in preserving our environment. As you can see, they have done a fantastic job and they all enjoyed making their outfits. Well done, Year 2.1. Queen of Apostles. -
